Love the place. I go there whenever I'm in town. Yes, it can be hit or miss, but it's mostly hit. The place is organic, family run, and family's ebb and flow. I've never had a bad meal there. Service is what you make of it. Benny and Tanya genuinely care about you. It's not put-on service like a hostest at Denny's. This is their place and is shows from the warmth of their hearts to the food on the plates. I love the place and I hope it stands for years.

I took my children here for pizza after a visit to Antietam on a hot summer day. They enjoyed the pizza, which was excellent. Gege's seems to be a cross between a restaurant, saloon, biker bar, and pool hall. They had a letter and article proudly displayed about citations for disturbances in their parking lot and a curious sign on the bathroom door that read "If two of you use the bathroom together, both of you will be permanently bared from this establishment." Gege's is an authentic, village bar/restaurant with superb pizza and a lot of character!
