The care that went into the refurbishing of Mary Hill House made our family feel right at home. We would stay again when we revisit the region!

The historic past of Mary Hill House was a wonderful compliment to our trip, with all the amenitites one needs for a pleasurable stay. Our hostess, Jennifer, had special treats ready for us, and even ensured there were gluten free options as I had expressed that our son was gluten free in a conversation prior to arrival. Jennifer also gave us tips on a shorter, less curvy and more timely route to Gettysburg.

We made the trip as our son was participating in the Civil War reenactments, but the bonus of nearby historic places, described by our hostess, made our trip extra special.

Our family stayed at Mary Hill House July 2013 for a truly memorable vacation - the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg. Being a history buff, our 14 year old son was thrilled to be so near the Antietam battlefield.
